We would strongly recommend that you book your accommodation and make any travel arrangements once you have entered the race.

The hotel sector in Ireland is experiencing a boom and rooms can be hard to get and expensive. However,  we have been lucky enough to secure a number of rooms from various hotels in the area at favourable rates. Details are on our website (Getting there & accommodation). As there is no guarantee that these will be held indefinitely, we would recommend you make your booking soon.

Car hire costs are currently very high across Europe and Ireland has not escaped. However, of today, the 1st of June, you can hire a Ford Fiesta type car for €587 for one week from the 1st to the 8th of September.

Another option, if arriving in to Dublin Airport, is to travel to Clonmel with JJ Kavanagh’s bus service (link in Travel to Clonmel on our website). The cost of a single journey is €20 and a return journey, €35. If you decide to travel to Clonmel this way, you can also avail of car hire in Clonmel after the race to do some touring around Ireland. As of today, the 1st of June, Europcar is offering a Ford Fiesta type car for €800 for the week of the 5th to the 12th of September.
